This church is a location seen in Season 11 of AMC 's The Walking Dead
Pre-Apocalypse Nothing is known about this church prior to or as the apocalypse began.
Post-Apocalypse Maggie , Alden , and Negan arrive at this church and decide to rest up before they continue on thier journey. Alden implores Maggie to leave him and he is slowing them down. After much discussion, Maggie leaves Alden some supplies and leaves with Negan. Alden closes the door as the pair leave and Negan kills a walker outside the church.
Following the defeat of the Reapers , Maggie returns to the church to get Alden . Opening the door, Maggie is attacked by a zombified Montanio whom she puts down. To Maggie's sorrow, she discovers that Alden and Montanio had killed each other. Maggie puts Alden down and buries him nearby.
