walkingdead

Zoo is the eleventh chapter in The Walking Dead: All-Stars.

Plot

A raider group that usually targets settlements has made a nearby university their hideout. You'd be hard pressed to find people who haven't lost a loved one to them. Take them out. All settlements will be that much safe for it.

Synopsis

The Dispatch Manager meets with Crane and David to discuss with them the elimination of the Raiders that are located at State University of New York at Buffalo due to their past associations with the group. Although Crane denies his ties with the group, David fully admits to it and gives The Dispatch Manager information about them.

While heading towards the university, Crane comments on the deaths of the Asyl Scouts and what happened to their corpses, with David saying he's not surprised by it. Crane then begins to think that it's unfair that they'd be the ones burdened by this task, yet David disagrees with this as well. While walking through the zoo, David notices the lack of animals around. David tells Crane that he heard from Sebastian that someone had let all the animals out of their cages at some point during the apocalypse. David said that he one time saw a giraffe and considered killing it, but he decided not too at the end on account of him thinking that it wouldn't taste good; however, David then goes on to say he was lying about ever seeing a giraffe. They reach the edge of the zoo and Crane asks David if he's ready to kill some raiders.
