A sword is a bladed weapon. The are several different types of swords with many survivors utilizing them.

Post-Apocalypse

Comic Series

Michonne uses a katana as her primary weapon, later giving the sword to Carl Grimes.

Original TV Series

Michonne uses a katana as her primary weapon, although it's stolen and used by the Governor and the Hunters before she recovers it.

Many residents of the Kingdom use swords, including Ezekiel and later Jerry after his battle axe is destroyed.

Jesus uses a sword up until his death at which point Aaron takes ownership of it.

Fear the Walking Dead

As the leader of Strand's Tower, Victor Strand uses a cutlass formerly belonging to George Hockley as one of his primary weapons. Seven years later, the sword is stolen from Strand by Russell, but he eventually reclaims the weapon.

Dead City

Swords are amongst the weapons stockpiled by the Silk Stockings and hidden inside of a statue for their attack on St. Patrick's Cathedral. On Bruegel's signal, Perlie Armstrong pushes the statue over and distributes weapons to the gang members. Bruegel uses a sword to kill a flamethrower-wielding Buraz before abandoning the sword in favor of the flamethrower. Ultimately, all but Bruegel and Perlie fall to either the walkers unleashed by Negan or the Burazi.

The Ones Who Live

Johnathan Beale owns a sword that originally belonged to Revolutionary War General Hugh Mercer. As a part of the Echelon Briefing, Beale has those who join the Frontliners swear on the sword.

Michonne uses her katana until it's taken from her by the CRM. She later reclaims it before returning home with Rick.

After getting the Echelon Briefing, Rick kills Beale with his own sword which he then gives to Michonne. Michonne uses the sword to kill Pearl Throne before dropping the weapon.

Daryl Series

Daryl takes a collapsable sword from the weapons brought to Solaz del Mar by El Alcázar. Daryl uses it to fight Manuel and his two henchmen, stabbing one in the throat with the sword and slashing Manuel's hand to send him falling into a small herd.

While investigating a sound, Carol grabs a sword, only to discover that it's Antonio watching old movies.

Daryl later uses the collapsible sword again while defending Solaz from a herd that was unleashed by Los Primitivos.

Telltale Series

For an unknown reason, Michonne has switched to a machete instead of her usual katana after leaving Alexandria. However, she wields her old katana in a hallucination of her fighting walkers while trying to reach her daughters.

The Kingdom soldiers accompanying Jesus to New Richmond use swords against the massive herd overrunning the city.

Destinies

Michonne has her katana taken from her when she is first taken to Woodbury, but after becoming suspicious, she sneaks into the Governor's home and she steals it back. After encountering a zombified Penny Blake, Michonne can choose to either put the little girl down with her sword or spare her, causing Merle Dixon/T-Dog to turn against the Governor and take control of Woodbury. Michonne uses her sword to fight her way out of the town and through the militia soldiers in the store where she first meets Daryl Dixon.

After Michonne is captured by the Woodbury leader, he takes the sword from her and uses it to kill either Michonne or Glenn depending upon who makes the case for everyone to live together in peace. If Michonne is the one who is killed, Glenn takes her sword for himself as he escapes from the burning and destroyed prison, using it to fight his way out past the walkers overrunning the prison.
